About the Role
You will be responsible for the efficient running of our Information Systems in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations. You will be collaborative and detail oriented and able to help strategically manage the IT activities of a large hotel property. It is a hands-on role and requires undivided attention to the backbone of the hotel, the I.T. systems.
You will:
Ensure IT hotel operations are supported and functioning 24/7. Be responsible to ensure that all computer systems and networks used within the hotels provide an ideally seamless uninterrupted service to the hotel operations. Provide end user support to core operational systems like PMS, POS, PABX and other property related systems. Be responsible for effectively managing all communication networks used internally within the hotels and all gateways to external networks. Provide technical assistance and advice to hotel management, whilst assisting in the provision of Information Systems related services to our hotel guests. Role requirements:
A university degree or diploma in Information Systems and/or Computer Programming Networking experience advantageous Sound experience of project management including system implementation and upgrade Recent work experience within an Information Systems role in an operation with advanced technology; Hotel related IS experience highly regarded; Strong technical knowledge of PCI Compliance / DSS and implementing said process and policies. Have the flexibility to travel periodically to the different hotels. Be able to answer calls when required to troubleshoot any issues and assist the hotels 24/7 operation.
