About the Role Reporting to the Director, the role covers the regular reporting requirements and of course other advisory and ad hoc tasks including: • Preparing Financial Statements for all entities including companies, trusts, partnerships and Sole traders • Preparing Income Tax returns for the above entities as well as Individuals • Preparing and lodging Business Activity Statements and Instalment Activity Statements • Preparation of FBT and other returns • Corporate compliance • Payroll including PAYG statements and superannuation payments • Handling a team of Accountants and Bookkeepers • Client advisory about taxation law and accounting standards that they can reasonably be expected to rely on to satisfy their taxation and accounting obligations. About the Candidate • At least 3 - 5 years experience within a local public practice will be highly regarded • CPA/CA qualified or in the final stages of passing either of the certified courses • Have excellent communication skills • Be motivated to grow their career and embrace new challenges • High attention to detail • Ability to work on deadlines • Practical knowledge and hands-on experience with accounting software packages (MYOB, XERO preferred).
