The role undertakes a range of onboarding of new vendors and undertakes regular review and updates of the database to improve/ maintain data quality. In this role you will also train internal stakeholders including when enhancements are undertaken and ready for roll out.
The Business Operations Analyst has the responsibility to generate quality and timely weekly Vendor Sales Out reports for submission to key vendors. This position requires the analyst to provide support and assistance to manager/ team lead with regards to escalations/issues/inquiry and to mentor and train new/existing team members in the addition to participation in process enhancement project and discussions.
Key Responsibilities of this Position:
• Creates master data for customers in SAP system accurately within SLA and adapts the data for showcasing on Power BI and other tools/ platforms (30%) • To ensure proper data governance with right level of accuracy (5%) • Monitors data quality regularly through data profiling & quality analysis and take corrective actions (15%) • Addresses user's requirement and concerns (10%) • Timely and accurate submission of vendor's sales out report to key vendors (10%) • Participates in enhancements to the system as per stakeholder inputs (10%) • Support and assist manager/team leader in escalations/issues/inquiries (10%) • Guide and train current and new team members (10%)
The successful candidate will need the following knowledge, skills and experience:
• 3 to 5 Years of relevant work experience. • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, IT, Supply Chain Field of Study preferred. • Able to recognize and attend to important details with accuracy and efficiency. • Able to interact effectively with all levels of management. • Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. • Able to train and communicate across the organisation key features of relevant computer system applications at an intermediate level. • Familiar with ERP system, SAP and BW and TM1 experience a plus. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. • Highly organized and detail-oriented with ability to handle multi-tasks. • Self-motivated and work independently with minimum supervision. • Strong communication (verbal and written) and collaboration abilities in addition to technical depth. • Ability to adapt to a dynamic changing environment. • Ability to communicate how technology achieves measurable business value. • Previous experience working in the IT/ technology or IT distribution businesses is highly regarded.
