The Information Management Officer works within the Information Management team, under limited direction to provide effective and efficient assistance to all Court and Tribunal locations. The role is responsible for providing secretariat services to the Information Governance Committee.
The key duties of the position include
Undertake administration and end-user support tasks of the Court's OpenText information management system.
Undertake tasks related to the information governance of Corporate Services and Tribunal information assets (physical and digital), including sentencing and disposal, in accordance with legislation, regulations and approved records authorities.
Provide end-user on-boarding, support and training including maintaining online training and user documentation, for the OpenText information management system.
Undertake post-migration data cleanup tasks within the OpenText information management system that relate to the data migration of the legacy RecFind, eDOCS and objective systems, as needed.
Build and manage relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including information technology, business system owners and business areas to achieve work area goals.
Contribute to the development and implementation of information management improvements and best practice in processes and procedures.
Provide assistance to others within the Information Management section with information management related tasks and projects.
Provide secretariat services to the Information Governance Committee.
