Full Time position - Fremantle Campus About us The Information Technology Office plays an integral role in the success of the University ensuring the national provision of technology solutions that enable Learning & Teaching, Research and Administration across our University. We embed an operating model with a view to enabling a greater level of engagement across the University, proactively serving as trusted advisors in the identification and prioritisation of continuous improvement initiatives and the delivery of digital technology change, whilst ensuring the ongoing availability of the IT environment. Your role We are currently looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our team at a period of growth and transformation to help inform effective decision making for the University. In this role, you will: Ascertain business needs, evaluate inefficiencies and provide recommendations for optimal processes. Partner with business stakeholders to identify system enhancements, upgrades and new solutions. Collaborate with technical team members and business to document business requirements and functional specifications. Contribute to the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to deliver service excellence and quality outcomes. Produce and communicate complex ideas, reports, analysis and findings clearly and concisely for a variety of audiences. Build effective working relationships through collaboration and engagement with internal and external stakeholders to achieve University objectives Support ongoing projects and strategic initiatives within the Information Technology Office. About you Relevant tertiary qualifications with previous experience in business analysis within an IT focused role (or other combination of experience/qualifications). Ability to identify continuous improvement initiatives and service delivery improvements aligned to the University's strategic objectives. Demonstrated experience with business process improvement and change management. Ability to develop project plans using project management principles and techniques. Excellent conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop creative solutions to complex problems and business requirements. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively internally and externally, managing multiple stakeholders and client groups and building trusted relationships.
