We are a long-established publicly listed company that provides battery-backed secure power solutions to all industrial sectors.
We have a position available for a highly motivated Assistant Accountant to work in our head office and to work with our offices overseas. This role directly reports to the Group Accountant and Financial Manager.
Interested parties must have experience in all the following areas:
Banking and payment
Payroll, Accounts payable & Receivable
BAS, Payroll Tax, Work cover, FBT and Income return Schedule
Balance Sheet reconciliation
Monthly Management Reporting
Survey for Australian Bureau of Statistics
Financial Reporting
Other ad-hoc reporting as required
Assist with Statutory Reporting
Assist with Budgeting and Forecasting
Assist with tax and regulatory compliance
Assist with annual Stocktake and Auditing
General office administration
The successful candidate should have the following qualifications, skills and attributes:
* Degree Qualified in Accounting. CPA or CA partly Qualified or equivalent experience
* At least 2-3 years experience in SME
* Proficiency in using SAP and advanced MS Office, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
* Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Excellent Time-management skills and ability to meet the strict reporting deadline.
* Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
* Super attention to detail.
* Able to work in complex and pressure situations.
