Video Editor / Shooter
About the role - you'll be:
Editing videos, creating and incorporating the graphics into videos, captioning.
Helping pre-produce content by working with our team to organise equipment, presenters, locations etc. for film shoots
Managing the storage of footage including back ups
What you need:
Proven video shooting and editing experience - please provide examples in your resume/cover letter
Competent in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, and all its tools
Experience with basic GFX work and 2D animation using Fusion, After Effects or equivalent
Basic Colour Grading Skills preferable
Have a basic understanding of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
Have a basic understanding of Auslan translated videos and Auslan videos, what works and what doesn't
Experience working in a team environment preferable
Ability and desire to collaborate and work with management/mentors
A desire to join a team to add value and growth in the company
Able to record and edit audio into videos would be ideal but not essential.
Qualifications:
Previous work experience in a similar role is preferred such as assistant editor, video editor or evidence through tertiary education degree
Good Auslan communication skills and written English skills
Ability to multitask and work toward several milestones on various projects simultaneously
Ability to understand the desired outcome of a project, focusing on the end users’ needs and the ability to bring them to life
Excellent communication skills are required to have a solid understanding of project scope and implementation
Ability to collaborate well with team to supply clients with top-notch finalised products
